Our Applied Drug Development students develop the practical and professional skills utilized across the lifecycle of drug development, manufacturing, and ongoing safety management. Prakash would like to work in a regulatory position in a pharmaceutical industry and contribute his part to the progress and development of society.

Le An

Credentials: BS

Le is a Scientist 3 at Genentech. She works in discovery formulation group and is interested in different in vitro assay for small molecule drug delivery. Le enjoys traveling and food tasting.

Kwabena Asante Mensah

Credentials: MS

Kwabena’s professional journey is deeply intertwined with his passion for applied drug development. The intricate process of translating scientific discoveries into tangible medications fascinates him, and he’s driven to contribute meaningfully to this field. One of Kwabena’s primary professional interests is in optimizing drug formulation. Kwabena is captivated by the science behind enhancing the efficacy and stability of medications, ensuring they can be delivered to patients in the most effective way possible. Furthermore, Kwabena is dedicated to advancing personalized medicine through his work. Tailoring treatments to individual patients based on genetic makeup and specific medical needs holds immense promise.

Srija Reddy Chintapally

Srija is looking forward to a career in industrial pharmacy.

Ali Mahmoud

Ali is a Research Intern at Abbott Laboratories. Ali hopes the ADD program will provide him with an extensive education of the drug development process and allow him to utilize that knowledge to better the health of society. The pharmaceutical industry is constantly evolving in the service that is offer and Ali aims to help advance the industry to its full potential in the patient’s best interest.

Rishitha Nukaraju

Rishitha wants to do certification in clinical SAS and work as a clinical SAS specialist.

Anjana Thomas Pellissery

Anjana is a Pharmacy Graduate who is passionate about the industry and scientific innovation. She desires leadership roles and strategic influence, aiming to develop research, decision-making and team leadership skills to address healthcare challenges and drive positive change.

Denys Habimana

Credentials: BS

Denys is a registered nurse at Remera Medicalized Health Center and Rapha Clinic. His professional interest is to expand his skills and knowledge towards pharmaceutical sciences, discovering and development of novel drugs, efficient use of existing drugs, and lowering the cost of therapy employing cheaper protocols for manufacturing the drugs. Denys enjoys cooking in his spare time.

Maja Jovovic

Credentials: BS

Maja is currently a Histology Technician. In the ADD Capstone Program Maja plans to raise her gpa and later apply for the Master’s program or even continue with applying to pharmacy school. She hopes to learn more about the drug development process and use her knowledge to help others.
