Alissa’s goal is to help make psychoactive therapies accessible to populations that lack adequate treatment options, whether through work in clinical development or along the regulatory pathway. Alongside exploring the potential of these substances for psychiatric conditions like anxiety, she is particularly interested in their applications for neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s. She also hopes to contribute to drug education and policy reform within the psychedelic field.
