Our Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences: Applied Drug Development prepares you for a variety of roles within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. In particular, you’ll gain practical skills required to work in a regulated environment as well as applied knowledge in the areas of the drug development process, biostatistics, data analysis, and regulatory affairs. This training, combined with a STEM degree, positions our graduates to make meaningful contributions in their places of work much sooner than they would otherwise.

Based out of Madison, Wisconsin, Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals consistently explores new ways of rapidly advancing drugs from discovery to the clinic. Arrowhead’s main focus areas include  cardiometabolic, pulmonary, liver, and neuromuscular conditions.

Poonam is the Director of Commercial Development at Usona. Her work experiences at NYU and Promega as well as her own company and nonprofit organization led her to Usona. Learn more about her current work and personal/professional obstacles she faced along the way.

Meet Kelly Loyet from Genentech!

Kelly is a Distinguished Scientist at Genentech, where she has held several roles since the beginning of her career. Starting as a first-generation college student, she has become a leader and mentor in the Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology Department. Meet Dr. John McCorvy from the Medical College of Wisconsin!

Dr. McCorvy is currently an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin through the Department of Cell Biology, Neurobiology, and Anatomy. He started his career working in a lab studying opioid dependencies throughout the opioid crisis following the Vietnam War. Learn more about how he has implemented principles of Ikigai throughout his life and explored the fundamental motivations for success.
